Imperial sources its fruit globally but never from China. We follow worldwide growing seasons to ensure we receive fruit that is frozen at its peak freshness. We then individually bag, case pack, and ship to retailers across the United States. Our strategically located production and distribution facilities improve on-time delivery and minimize freight costs.

Product Development

Imperial believes product and packaging innovation are critical in achieving consumer satisfaction, category growth and higher margins.

The company develops new products independently and is constantly seeking new varieties and blends. Imperial’s product development team carefully analyzes consumer trends and also works collaboratively with its customers to develop products that meet individual consumer and market needs.


Imperial produces and stores product at five, strategically located manufacturing plants in New York, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and California. Each facility complies with GFSI standards, is USDA inspected and operates with strict HACCP and food safety programs.


Food Safety

All facilities are annually inspected by recognized 3rd party auditors and also, as required by state and federal regulatory agencies. Additionally, we partner closely with our onsite Quality Assurance teams to ensure quality and safety standards remain high. Consumer safety and satisfaction are fundamental responsibilities to which Imperial places the highest priority.

We require fruit to be processed under strict GMP conditions and undergo microbiological testing and grading prior to packaging. Finished goods are checked for proper weight and package integrity before being case packed and palletized. All finished product is fully traceable throughout the supply chain.
